How to Turn on Windows firewall in Windows Vista.

To turn on the Windows firewall follow the steps:

1) Click 'Start' and click 'Control Panel'. (The 'Control Panel' window appears.)

3) Click 'Windows Firewall'. (The 'Windows Firewall' dialog box appears.)

4) Select the 'On (recommended)' option.
NOTE: If you want the firewall to block everything, including the programs selected on the 'Exceptions' tab, then select the 'Block all programs' check box.
5) Click 'OK'.
